I haven’t used Plastiq since my Citi AT&T Access More card stopped earning 3X Thank You points when paying my mortgage late last year but I was happy to see their newest promotion show up in my email box.

What is Plastiq?

Never heard of Plastiq?  It’s a service that allows you to pay bills with a credit card that normally don’t accept credit cards.  For example your rent, mortgage, taxes, contractors, etc.  Plastiq charges a 2.5% fee for you to use your credit card then makes payment on your behalf.

Plastiq is an easy way to meet new credit card sign up bonus spending requirements  If you’ve never used Plastiq before and would like to try it out, use my referral link to sign up and when you make $500 in payments, you will be another $500 fee free.

Current Promo

Until September 30, 2018, Plastiq is waiving their fee when you use your Mastercard in Masterpass.  The email indicates this promotion applies to any bill or invoice up to a maximum of $500 each.

Now technically the small print states that this offer is only available to my account – but I’ve heard from lots of people that they got this email also.

Looks like I’ll pull my Citi AT&T Access More Mastercard out and take advantage of this promotion.
