Blog Report – May 2017

This post may contain affiliate links. Please read my disclosure for more info.

This month saw me take another step backwards in regards to the total number of page views in May - a reduction from ~2900 to ~1900 per month.  I only had 5 new posts this month 🙁  At least I had a few more people become email subscribers.  But I have been hard at work on the beginner's course.  I have modules 1, 2, & 3 complete which include 16 lessons and am working on the 4th module now.  I had originally planned for this course to be live before June 23rd but it doesn't look like that will happen - there is still too much to write.  My new target will be to have it live by September 1st.

Things Accomplished This Month

  • Completed the final 3 posts on my Paris trip
  • I ending up writing only 5 posts for the month
  • My pageviews went down this month from ~2900 to ~1700
  • My most popular post again was an old one from March 'Automatic Check-In for Southwest Flights' - this post had 426 pageviews.
  • Signed up for Mailerlite to use instead of Mailchimp - I'm going to see if it's better (did you notice the new pop-up)
  • Didn't spend any money on the blog this month!
  • I created a new 'feature image' for my posts using canva.com - do you like the look?
